Payment and Refund Policy

Credit card payments are processed though our reservation system via Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to make payment. You have the option to pay by check as well, for payment via check, mail checks, payable to:

Payment in full required at time of booking if paying via check. We require a 50% refundable* deposit when you book if you pay via credit/debit card.

A credit/debit card number may be required to ‘hold’ the reservation until your check is received and cleared.

*Your deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to your trip date less 6% administrative fee. It is 50% refundable 15-29 days prior and non-refundable within 14 days of scheduled trip departure (no additional administrative fees for partial refunds).

*If your cruise ship or flight is delayed or canceled, and we are unable to reschedule, or if we cancel for any reason (including weather) a full refund will be issued. 

If for some unforeseen reason (illness, mechanical, etc.) we are unable to provide the service, we will place you with another licensed boat and captain or refund your money.

Office Hours

To book your personal Alaska Galore Tour (or even if you just have questions), give us a call or send an email. Our offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Juneau is in the Alaska Standard Time Zone, which is 4 hours behind Eastern Time and 1 hour behind Pacific Time.

Phone messages and emails are checked frequently throughout the weekend, you can expect a response for any message within 24 hours.


Transportation to Auke Bay Harbor from downtown Juneau is provided and pre-arranged for you, it is a bout a 20 minute ride each way. Cruise ship docks are located in downtown Juneau. We will also provide transportation from/to most commercial accommodations/lodging (no B&B’s or private residences).

Fish Processing

We work with local processors to have your catch professionally processed and shipped to your door. We will assist with your paperwork and ensure that your fish is safely delivered to the processor. Once that happens, the processor will contact you directly for payment and shipping details. Depending on how you choose to have your fish processed, rates are  $5-$9 per pound which includes FedEx shipping.


Fishing licenses are mandatory for anyone 16 years or older. King salmon stamps are also required for those fishing during the King season (captain will advise). Both licenses and stamps are available for purchase aboard our boats and are payable in cash or travelers checks only. Current pricing is $25 for a one-day fishing license and $15 for a King salmon stamp.


Snacks (granola/breakfast style bar, chips, cookies), soft drinks and bottled water are provided on board for everyone. Lunches are provided for trips lasting 6 hours or more.


We recommend dressing in layers and suggest a T-shirt, sweatshirt, and a light jacket as well as long pants and comfortable, soft soled shoes – tennis shoes are fine.


All necessary fishing gear and bait is provided for fishing charters and binoculars are provided for whale and wildlife adventures.
